ACIC RISE Association, CEC Landran, Centre for Boudhik Sampada (IPR Cell) of Chandigarh Group of Colleges Celebrated World IP Day in collaboration with Punjab State of Science & Technology & with the support of United State Patent and Trademark Office by conducting a workshop on Intellectual Property Management & Commercialization. The Workshop aimed to cover the core aspects of IP management & commercialization. The session started with a brief introduction about Centre for Boudhik Sampada by Dr. Ruchi Singla – Director RISE Department. Mr. Dinesh Sharma, Senior IP Policy Advisor for India, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Embassy of the United States of America & Mr. Surya Kant, Director – Programs, Ministry of Electronics & IT Startup Hub, Govt of India were the Chief Guest who share their words of wisdom & enlightened them about the ever-growing Importance of IPR. Ms. Divya Kaushik from PSCST also shared her insights about the IP Commercialization. Further, Dr. Ganga Ram Chaudhary from Punjab University, Ms, Saravanti from ICRISAT delivered the talk and enlightened audience with the IPR Journey to market & shared various facets of IPR. Faculty members from different institutes of CGC attended the event. The workshop encouraged faculty members to explore the commercial potential of their research and inventions
