Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, Landran, Mohali organized an IPR event in association with IIC on 19 th October 2022. The theme of the event was “Building Awareness: Creating Intellectual Property” among M. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy students. The event was a collaborative effort of CCP & IPR Cell, Chandigarh Group of Colleges. The day proceeded with Expert talk delivered by Mr. Ashutosh Rana, IP Attorney, Indian Patent Agent, and Ennoble IP. Sir stressed about the need for creating awareness among students to file patents and its industrial application. The second expert of the event was Ms. Neha Yadav, Sr. Patent & Research Associate. She discussed the Importance of IPR in Pharmaceuticals and interacted with students regarding the procedure for getting a patent for any idea. She also gave some of the case examples for novelty and inventiveness. The event was ended with vote of thanks by the Ms. Shikha Virk, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, CCP.
