We are pleased to announce that Startup Thrive’s Ideathon, hosted by ACIC RISE Association ,CGC Landran in collaboration with IKG Punjab Technical University Kapurthala and Startup Punjab, held its inaugural ceremony today. The event was graced by esteemed individuals such as Chief Guest Dr. Jatinder Kaur Arora, Executive Director of the Punjab State Council For Science And Technology shed light on boosting rural enterprises in Punjab and emphasized the importance of focusing on environmental sustainability through technologies like Artificial Intelligence. Guest of Honour Dr Dapinder Kaur Bakshi, Joint Director of the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, advocated scaling up grassroots innovations and building a better innovation startup ecosystem in Punjab. Dr Jujhar Singh from IKG Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, special guest of the day showcased how the advanced manufacturing facility at IKG PTU supports budding entrepreneurs. The success of the Startup Thrive event is attributed to the kind support and visionary guidance of the management of Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran. With a diverse group of participants, including 200 enthusiastic young entrepreneurs representing over 55 teams from various parts of India, Startup Thrive served as a great platform for collaboration and innovation.
