The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, successfully conducted the next phase of the Summer Training Program 2026 on “IPR Powered Entrepreneurship: Founders Toolkit,” focusing on entrepreneurship, Startup development, and business validation. The expert session on “Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Competencies” was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) J. S. Saini, NITTTR, Chandigarh. Another insightful session was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Amresh Kumar, covering the stages of Startup development, idea generation and validation, market research, customer-centric planning, Business Model Canvas (BMC), value proposition, revenue models, and pricing strategies. Participants identified real-world problems, proposed innovative Startup ideas, explored MSME (Udyam) Registration and DPIIT Startup India Recognition, selected Startup names, identified suitable legal structures and NIC codes, and conducted market surveys to validate their business ideas.
