The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, in association with the ACIC RISE Association, organized a two-day hands-on workshop titled “Demystifying Applied Technological Interventions for SDG Mapping” on 29 September 2026 at the AICTE-Idea Lab, CGC Landran, Mohali.
Drone Technology Session: Conducted by Er. Simarjeet Singh, Embedded Engineer, Nervecell AI Private Limited, the session covered drone fundamentals, components, assembly, working principles, and basic flight operations, giving participants practical insight into drone technology.
Cybersecurity Session: Conducted by Mr. Aditya Kumar Ojha, Chief Technology Officer, CyberHawkz Intelligence Services LLP, the session introduced participants to Kali Linux, cybersecurity tools, and data protection, highlighting the importance of digital security in today’s technology-driven environment. The Department extends its sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Neha Sharma, Dean – Research & Development, for her guidance and support, and acknowledges the valuable support of Er. Sonia Jindal, Vertical Head – Drone Technology Lab; Er. Satwinder Singh, Vertical Head – Advanced Manufacturing; and Er. Jaspreet Kaur, Vertical Head – Cybersecurity Lab, in making the workshop a meaningful and successful learning experience.
