Inauguration of Solar charging facility

We are really thrilled and extends our heartfelt gratitude to our Hon’ble Management (Sh. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal ji) and local villagers a, Gram Sarpanchs of Maujpur, Bhaugumajra ,bairampur , Majat Villages, officials from G3 Solar Energy for sparing their valuable time to inaugurate the Solar charging facility at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran. With generous financial support from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India under a sponsored research project, this solar-powered initiative is set to make a significant impact on needy people & women of local villages. This facility will set up a good example towards sustainability, empowerment, and economic growth. This solar charging facility has been developed to address the energy needs of our local street vendors, particularly those operating e-rickshaws & loaders. It provides a convenient and cost- effective way for them to charge their electric vehicles. By doing so, we are not only helping them reduce operational expenses but also contribute to a cleaner and greener environment for everyone.

In addition to the solar charging facility, we are proud to announce that we are actively supporting women living below poverty lines and few Self Help Groups (SHGs) by offering them special space and essential resources to work and showcase their products. This initiative will also prioritize skill development and innovation within our rural community, creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods in the energy sector. The project team has collaborated with officials from G3S Solar Energy lead by Mr. Kuldeep Singh to set up more efficient and productive solar facilities . we are going to open 02 more facilities, out of which one if going to be fully operational at swara village soon, as revealed by Dr. Ruchi Singla , Director R&D and Principal investigator of the project.
