ACIC RISE Association Landran, Mohali supported by AIM NITI Aayog, Government of India is organizing an Ideathon-Innovation Blitz that is exclusively designed to nurture curiosity and provide a platform for young Ideas to blossom. This event will focus to channelize the energy of participants to create social impact and help India to be innovative. Participants can work in teams and use innovative learning practices to ideate and collaborate on possible solutions. The event is looking to support selected innovative ideas and they will be given the opportunity to incubate at ACIC RISE Association.

Important Dates:

Last Date to Submit Idea: 10th August, 2023

Ideathon Dates:  24th & 25th August, 2023

 Eligibility Criteria:

• An individual or a team with an innovative idea can apply.
• A maximum of four participants are permitted per team.
• College/Institute/University Students/ Community person are allowed to participate.

Schedule highlights: 

• Day 1: Briefing of Idea in One Minute (Round 1), Business Model Canvas (BMC) workshop, Preparation of BMC and Present BMC (Round 2)
• Day 2: Workshop on How to Pitch your Ideas, Final Pitching- PPT presentation (Final Round 3), Announcement of Winners based on all three Rounds.

Idea Submission

• ACIC RISE Association supported by AIM, NITI Aayog is inviting the ideas covering all fields that will be beneficial for society and solve the problems of urban, semi urban and rural areas addressing the community issues at large.
• The proposed ideas would be evaluated on the basis of presentation, novelty in ideas, Business Model etc. during the event.

Event Guidelines

• School/College/Institute/University students/community person can participate in the Ideathon. 
• A maximum of four participants are permitted per team.
• The idea should have a potential to be commercialized.
• Participants will be required to bring their own laptops, chargers and essential accessories to participate in this Ideathon.
• Facility like wired internet connection for every team, power supply points, will be provided by us.
• Participants need to submit their ideas giving a brief of the idea using the link given in submission tab given on website.
• Based upon the initial submission, the shortlisted teams (around 50) will be intimated through email to register for the Ideathon.
• Registration Fee of Rs. 2000 (per team) for shortlisted teams is to be deposited as per the registration guidelines given on website.
• Mentor support is allowed, but the mentor will be counted as part of the team (Team contain maximum four members).
• Copied Ideas will lead to disqualification.
• No Travel Allowance will be given by ACIC RISE Association, Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran.
• Institutional ID card is mandatory for the participants (students only).
• ACIC RISE Association will not be responsible, for loss of any belongings of the participants.
• Registration fees includes food and accommodation (Separate for female) during the Ideathon.
• All the registered teams will receive participation certificate.
