The Centre for Boudhik Sampada in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council, organized an expert talk and visit by Mr. Ankush Gawri, Manager (IP & Technology Transfer) Indovation Centre, Chandigarh. This event focused on conducting a lecture on Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and evaluating the potential for technology transfer and commercialisation of faculty innovations. Mr. Ankush Gawri toured the research facilities of ACIC RISE and interacted with various startups incubated there. He gained insight into the practical applications of the work being done and shortlisted a few inventions for initiating the technology transfer process. A key part of the visit was a discussion on TRL levels, including strategies for patenting, industry collaboration, and securing funding. Mr. Gawri provided valuable advice on these aspects and highlighted several projects with strong commercial potential. In conclusion, this event represented a significant achievement in CGC’s journey toward commercialization and industry collaboration.
