To inform marginalized farmers about sustainable agribusinesses, ACIC RISE Association organized a knowledge session for local farmers at CEC landran. Dr. Raminder Singh Ghuman, DES(SM) & Incharge FASC Ropar shared important points on Govt. schemes available for farmers to attain sustainability in farming and how to increase the probability by adopting modern harvesting practices. Finally Dr. Navneet Kaur, Professor from PAU, Ludhiana highlighted the importance of Bee Keeping as a profitable business for small farmers and its matter for maintaining ecological balance. The issues of participating farmers related to PM-KYC were also resolved by invited officials from the Department of Agriculture, Punjab.
