that Er. Jaspreet Kaur (Vertical Head of Cybersecurity) has successfully completed 5-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Foundations of Cybersecurity: A Hands-on Approach for Secure Systems” organized by Electronics and ICT Academy (an initiative by MeitY) at Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Mohali in collaboration with the Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab.
The 5-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) offered a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals along with their practical applications. The sessions provided valuable insights into cybersecurity threats, ethical hacking techniques, networking protocols, and digital forensics. The program also addressed emerging security challenges in edge AI and explored effective methods to ensure data protection and privacy.
The key highlight of the FDP was the strong emphasis on hands-on learning with an opportunity to work closely with Linux commands, security tools, and specialized cybersecurity software, which enhanced the ability to analyse, prevent, and mitigate risks in real-world systems.
