The Department of RISE, CGC Landran, organized a workshop on Drone Technology at Meritorious School, Sector-70, Mohali, providing students with an exciting opportunity to explore the fundamentals and practical applications of drone technology. The workshop was conducted by Er. Sonia Jindal, Vertical Head – Drone Technology, who familiarized students with the various components of a drone, explained their functions and working principles, and demonstrated the process of flying a drone. The live flying demonstration offered students valuable hands-on exposure, helping them understand how different drone components work together and how this emerging technology is being applied across various sectors. The initiative aimed to foster scientific curiosity, encourage experiential learning, and inspire students to explore emerging technologies and innovation, under the valuable guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean – Research & Development, CGC Landran.
