📢 Day 1 Highlights | ICSSR-Sponsored Two-Day National Conclave on GST 2.0
The Department of RISE (R&D), CEC-CGC Landran, successfully inaugurated the ICSSR-Sponsored Two-Days National Conclave on “GST 2.0: Compliance, Cost & Competitiveness – Empowering MSMEs & Startups in India’s Digital Growth Era” on 18 August 2026. The event was graced by Hon’ble Vice Chairman S. Parampal Singh Dhillon, Prof. (Dr.) Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director, and Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean Research, along with Director Principals, HoDs, faculty members, industry leaders, and distinguished guests. The inaugural session featured the ceremonial lamp lighting, an address on GST 2.0 by Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, release of the Conclave Souvenir, and presentation of the Conclave Report by Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Arora, IPR Head & Convenor. Eminent speakers shared insights on MSMEs, startups, fintech, GST reforms, technology, and competitiveness. With 140+ participants and 105 shortlisted research abstracts, the conclave witnessed strong academic and industry participation. Key highlights included the Grassroots Innovators Award Ceremony, two expert panel discussions on MSMEs and technology, and five technical sessions covering MSME competitiveness, fintech, technology, global practices, and the future of GST 2.0. The day concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Deepika Sharma, Publication Head & Co-Convenor.
