Grassroots Innovators Recognition Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan: A Proud Moment for Punjab & ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran!
A proud milestone for ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran, as S. Jaswinder Singh, founder of an incubated Startup and a Punjab State GRIP Awardee supported by PSCST, received national recognition at the Grassroots Innovators Recognition Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, recognized S. Jaswinder Singh among the Top 26 Grassroots Innovators of India under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, for his outstanding contribution to grassroots innovation and the vision of Viksit Bharat. His innovation, the Pneumatic Multi-Seed Sowing Machine for Nursery, highlights the power of practical, farmer-centric technology to improve agricultural efficiency, precision, and productivity. During the ceremony, the Hon’ble President appreciated the innovators for developing impactful solutions that address local challenges and strengthen rural livelihoods. The innovators were felicitated by Dr. Jitendra Singh, while the Innovation Exhibition provided an opportunity to showcase their transformative work. The occasion concluded with a special felicitation of S. Jaswinder Singh and the CEO of ACIC RISE Association by Dr. Deepak Bagla, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission, in recognition of their commitment to promoting grassroots innovation.
