Session on How to Write a Winning Research Proposal during FDP

We are delighted to share that Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean Research, CGC Landran, delivered an insightful session on “How to Write a Winning Research Proposal: Securing Government Funding, R&D Grants and Sponsored Projects” during the Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Future-Centric Hospitality Education: AI Integration & Entrepreneurial Pedagogy,” organized by the Chandigarh College of Hospitality, CGC Landran, from 6th–10th July 2026. The session provided faculty members with practical insights into developing competitive research proposals, covering key aspects such as identifying funding opportunities, defining research objectives, designing robust methodologies, preparing realistic budgets, and aligning proposals with the priorities of government agencies, R&D organizations, and sponsored funding programmes. Prof. Sharma emphasized the importance of strategic grant writing in strengthening research excellence, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and securing funding for impactful research and innovation.
