Department of RISE through its RISOVATE Club, CGC Landran, successfully organized the Innovation Expo for School Students – “Trash to Treasure 2026”, providing a platform for young innovators to transform waste into sustainable solutions. Students from Learning Paths School, Mohali; Saint Soldier School, Chunni Kalan; Infant Jesus Convent School, Mohali; GSSS Gigemajra, Mohali; and Lawrence Public Senior Secondary School, Mohali participated enthusiastically and showcased innovative projects based on Best Out of Waste, Green Innovations, Sustainable Products, Eco-friendly Packaging, Circular Economy, and Recycling & Upcycling Solutions. The winning teams were felicitated with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates, while all participants received certificates for their creative contributions. The event was graced by Chief Guest Er. Vijaykumar Wakchaure, Founder, VIT Engineering Pvt. Ltd., whose inspiring words encouraged young innovators. We extend our gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean Research, for her visionary support in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and appreciate the valuable evaluation and guidance provided by the esteemed jury members from various departments of CGC Landran.
