The Department of RISE, CGC Landran takes immense pride in sharing that Jai Sharma (ECE) and Jayant Jindal (ET) of PIDLabs, an incubated Start-up at ACIC RISE Association, have secured First Prize at DRON-O-WAR 1.0 organized by Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida held from 2–3 May, 2026.
They were also awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- in recognition of their outstanding achievement. Their exceptional performance in Drone Design Innovation reflects their outstanding innovation, technical excellence, and teamwork.
This accomplishment underscores the exemplary vision of Dr. Rajdeep Singh (Campus Director, CGC Landran). Under the strategic and time intensive mentorship of Er. Sonia Jindal (Vertical Head, Drone Technology Lab), the students were able to compete rigorously and with utmost diligence. The valuable support of Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma (Dean R&D, CGC Landran) has been instrumental in enabling active participation.
