Enterpreneurship Awareness Program & IIC President’s Meet

The Department of RISE, CGC Landran in collaboration with Regional
Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), Chandigarh organised an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program. The event aimed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking and provide students with practical guidance on innovation and start-up opportunities.
The Guest Speaker of the day, Mr. Paramjit Singh (Director, RCED) shared his expertise on fostering entrepreneurship and emphasized the importance of building a strong start-up ecosystem to empower young innovators. Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma (Dean R&D, CGC Landran) in her address on Student-Specific Schemes & Grants, highlighted the various opportunities available to support students in their entrepreneurial journey. Prof. (Dr.) Amresh Kumar (CEO, ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran) presented insights on the Incubator Facilities (ACIC-RISE), emphasizing the support the incubation centre provides including technologies, mentorship, and infrastructure facilities to help start-ups develop and thrive. Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Arora (IPR Head, CGC Landran) guided students through the IPR Filing Process, stressing the importance of protecting intellectual property and encouraged innovators to safeguard their ideas.
The program reinforced CGC Landran’s commitment to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. By connecting students with experts the event inspired students and empowered them with knowledge to transform ideas into impactful ventures and contribute meaningfully to the start-up network.
