Progressive Punjab Investor’s Summit

A team of faculty members from the Department of RISE, CGC Landran
actively participated in the Progressive Punjab Investor’s Summit (PPIS) 2026 at Plaksha University, IT City, Mohali, based on the theme “Punjab Means Business – Policy to Practice,” underlining the institution’s pivotal role in industry academia interlinkage and fostering collaborative opportunities. The premier event celebrated the state’s industrial ambition and entrepreneurial resilience, offering a strategic exhibition space for organizations to showcase their latest products and innovation capabilities.
The active participation of the faculty members from the Department of RISE in the Progressive Punjab Investor’s Summit 2026 was facilitated by the invaluable guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma (Dean Research, CGC Landran). Dr. Deepika Sharma (Publication Head, CGC Landran) and Prof. (Dr.) Amresh Kumar (CEO, ACIC RISE Association) attended the event. During the summit, Start-up Punjab officials led vital discussions on the evolving Start- up policy and the growing ecosystem, specifically recognizing the key contributions of local incubators like the ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran. The platform facilitated high-level networking, allowing the team to present investment propositions and technological advancements to senior government officials, global investors, and industry leaders from across the region. The faculty members gained valuable insights into Punjab’s evolving Start-up ecosystem and the importance of industry-academia collaboration.
