We are delighted to share that Myco-Mazing, founded by Ms. Deepanshi Sharma, Community Innovator Fellow at ACIC RISE Association, and mentored by Dr. Deepika Sharma (Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh College of Technology and Publication Head, Department of RISE, CGC Landran), was featured at the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries organized by the Government of India in New Delhi. The startup received sustained support and encouragement from Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma (Dean, RISE) and Dr. Amresh Kumar (CEO, ACIC RISE), enabling it to present an innovative mycelium-based solution for converting crop stubble into biodegradable and eco-friendly alternatives. This solution offers a sustainable pathway to address stubble burning and agri-waste management. During the conference, Ms. Deepanshi Sharma interacted with Hon’ble Chief Secretaries and senior officials from the agriculture sector, and the initiative received appreciation from the Hon’ble Agriculture Minister and the Chief Secretary, Punjab, acknowledging its potential to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future
