SHE Cohort 3.0

ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran, in collaboration with Punjab State Council For Science And Technology successfully organized SHE Cohort 3.0, an initiative aimed at identifying, nurturing, and empowering tech-led women startups in Punjab.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr Dapinder Kaur Bakshi (Joint Director, Punjab State Council for Science & Technology), Special Guest Dr. Deepak Kapoor (PSCST) and Speakers Ms. Nitika Mishra Khurana ( Chandigarh Angel Network), Dr. Ati Priye (CEO, CGC Jhanjeri – Incubation), Mr. Parwinder singh (President DEC NGO), and Dr. Gowri Jayamurugan(Founder, Gowriz Skin Care).
Dr. Dapinder Kaur Bakshi highlighted the importance of fostering women-led startups and encouraged participants to take advantage of government initiatives, incubation support, and funding opportunities to scale their ventures. Dr. Deepak Kapoor praised ACIC RISE’s efforts in building a strong startup culture and stressed the importance of mentorship, perseverance, and adaptability for budding entrepreneurs. Dr. Ati Priya shared insights on incubation support and the role of institutions in nurturing early-stage startups. Ms. Nitika highlighted the importance of structured mentorship and access to market opportunities. Mr. Parwinder Singh spoke about the impact of technology-driven businesses and how startups can harness digital tools and AI-driven solutions to gain a competitive edge in their respective industries. Dr. Gowri Jaimurugan, as a successful entrepreneur in the skincare industry, shared her personal journey of overcoming challenges and scaling her business.
Ms. Bhavna Meghwal, founder of Groobe Beauty and Grooming Services LLP and an incubatee at ACIC RISE Association, shared her startup journey. She spoke about the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the beauty and grooming industry.
