Session on Futuristic AI Augmented Technologies for Industry 5.0

The Department of RISE, CGC Landran successfully organized a 2-day hands-on workshop on
“Futuristic AI-Augmented Technologies for Industry 5.0”, aimed at providing students with
practical exposure and industry-oriented knowledge in emerging technological domains.
The first day of the workshop featured a session on 3D Printing by Dr. Charanjeet Kalra (Founder Modern Manufacturer)
who explained the fundamentals of advanced manufacturing, various tools used in 3D printing, and the
complete process of manufacturing. The session was highly interactive and included hands-on practical training,
where students learned how to design and develop projects using 3D printing technology.
This was followed by a session on Cybersecurity conducted by Mr. Tarun Malhotra C. Malhotra (CEO- Cybersplunk)
who provided deep insights into cyber vulnerabilities, threats, and real-world challenges. He also discussed
preventive measures and strategies to overcome cyber risks, enhancing students’ awareness of digital security.

The day two was entirely dedicated to Drone Technology, led by Er. Ajay Kumar Godara (Founder-Enovate Skill Lab LLP)
who explained the components, working principles, and development process of the drones.
The session included a live field demonstration, where students observed drone operations and gained practical experience
in flying drones.

The workshop was organized under the guidance of
Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma (Dean Research & Development, CGC Landran). It was effectively coordinated by
Er. Jaspreet Kaur (Vertical Head-Cybersecurity), Er. Sonia Jindal (Vertical Head-Drone Technology)
and Er. Satwinder Singh, (Vertical Head-Advanced Manufacturing)

The workshop proved to be highly informative and impactful,
Industry 5.0 technologies while bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical implementation.
