CGC Landran participated in the ongoing India AI Impact Summit 2026
in New Delhi through a faculty delegation comprising Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean Research; Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Arora, Head IPR; and Dr. Amresh Kumar, CEO, Atal Community Innovation Centre. Organised by the Government of India under the IndiaAI Mission, the summit, scheduled to continue through 20th February, has brought together policymakers, industry representatives, startups and academic institutions to deliberate on applied AI, governance and emerging skill needs. It also serves as a valuable platform for academic institutions to align research priorities, curriculum and innovation initiatives with India’s evolving AI roadmap. While at the Summit, the CGC Landran delegation engaged with government and industry stakeholders to exchange perspectives and explore collaborative opportunities, with discussions focused on strengthening industry-academia linkages, developing future ready talent and enabling students and startups to contribute to technological progress. The visit also reflects CGC Landran’s ongoing focus on advancing AI-driven research, supporting digital enablement across its campus and strengthening its innovation and startup ecosystem in alignment with national priorities and as a committed contributor to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
